Alexandra Alvarez was victorious after oral argument before the Appellate Division in the Second Department. They affirmed the trial court’s decision which granted our threshold motion on default on the case Theodora Renee Harrison v. Andrea M. Toyloy and Andrew Toyloy. The Appellate Division held that the plaintiff did not provide a meritorious defense or reasonable explanation as to why they could not oppose the motion on the merits.
