Marcin Kurzatkowski Wins Appeal in Appellate Term of Supreme Court

On January 15, 2015, Marcin Kurzatkowski prevailed on appeal in Mas v. Chase Bank, 2013-00785 W C (App. Term, S. Ct. 9th & 10th Jud. Dist.) The plaintiff claimed that he fell over a bench in a branch of Chase Bank. Following a small claims trial, the case was dismissed. Mr. Kurzatkowski successfully argued on appeal that the bench was obvious and readily observable, and that Chase Bank was not liable for the plaintiff’s claimed injuries.
